About us
Forty open tabs is not a trip plan
Todo Rome groups the city's best tours, hotels and tables by the neighbourhood you are actually staying near, with real filters instead of a search box that returns everything at once.
How it started
Built by people who kept replanning the same weekend
Every guide to Rome reads the same way: a wall of ruins with no sense of what sits near what, hotel prices that assume you already know the neighbourhoods, and restaurant lists that never say if you actually need to book ahead or just show up.
Todo Rome started as a spreadsheet grouping the things worth doing by the six areas visitors actually stay in and move between: the Colosseum and Ancient Rome, the Pantheon and the Centro Storico, the Vatican and Prati, Trastevere and Testaccio, the Spanish Steps and the Tridente, and Monti and Termini.
That spreadsheet became a filter. Set a budget, a minimum rating and an area, and the forty listings on the guide narrow to the handful that actually fit your trip.
How we choose
What earns a place on the guide
Checked, not scraped
Every address, price band and opening hour is reviewed by hand before it goes on the guide, and rechecked on a rolling basis.
No paid placement
Nothing moves up the list because a venue paid for it. Sort by rating and the highest rated listing shows first, every time.
Grouped honestly
A listing is tagged to the neighbourhood it is genuinely closest to, not the trendiest area name it could borrow.
Kept current
Prices drift and hours change with the season, especially around Rome's timed entry tickets. We would rather show a wider price range than a number that is quietly wrong.
