A straightforward, paper tablecloth trattoria two minutes from the Colosseum, doing the four Roman pasta classics, carbonara, cacio e pepe, gricia and amatriciana, without pretense or a marked up tourist menu. It fills fast at both lunch and dinner and does not take bookings, so arriving right at opening or accepting a short wait is the trade off for the location and the price. Portions are generous enough that a starter and a pasta usually covers most appetites.
